RIP Before GTA 6 is a joke made by a fan. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or the Grand Theft Auto series. Grand Theft Auto, GTA and GTA VI are trademarks of their owners and are used only to refer to the game the meme is about.

What we count

To know how many people showed up, our analytics count visits, F presses, submitted last words, upvotes and shares. Each count is tied to a random anonymous ID, the country your request came from, whether you are on a phone or a computer, and the site that sent you. Nothing is tied to your name, account or email, because there are none.

What we store

• An anonymous ID in your browser’s local storage. It lets us tell new visitors from returning ones. It is random, used only on this site, never shared, and expires after 13 months. We use no cookies.
• A salted, one-way hash of your IP address. It limits spam and caps how many votes one network can give a message. We never store your IP address itself. Vote and report records are deleted when the deadline passes; rate-limit records within a few hours. People who share a network are sometimes treated as one visitor for rate limits.
• A random device key in local storage. It lets us count one upvote per message per device, so people on the same wifi or school network can all vote. It is used only for voting, never shared and never used for analytics, so the opt-out below does not remove it (voting needs it). Clearing your browser data deletes it.
• The last words you submit. They are public and anonymous. Don’t write anything you wouldn’t say out loud.
• Anonymous analytics events are deleted after 90 days.

Your choices

We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends either, none of your visits or actions are added to our analytics. You can also switch analytics off here, which deletes your anonymous analytics ID. This only concerns analytics: the public respects counter and your votes keep working, because they are the point of the site.

Third parties

There are no ads, trackers or third-party scripts on this site. It is hosted on Netlify, and the guestbook and counters are stored with Supabase. Both process requests on our behalf. If advertising or sponsorship is ever added, this page will change first and a consent choice will appear where the law requires one.

User-submitted content

Last words are filtered automatically for links, spam and abusive language, and a human can remove anything. Press Report next to a line and enough reports hide it automatically. We remove content that is hateful, threatening, sexual, personal, or that promotes anything. To request removal of anything on this site, email thomvanhooijdonk@gmail.com.
